System Engineer - Linux (m/f/d)
 
 
Your responsibilities:
 

• Installation & Configuration of Linux systems
• Embedded hardware selection and evaluation
• Creation and maintenance of Linux OS images
• Configuration and maintenance of Linux HA systems
• Creation and configuration of virtual environments
• Development and maintenance of a DB Backup-Solution
• Developing and extension of concepts and specifications of new or existing products including accompanying documentation
• Providing consultancy and 3rd level support for users and customers

 
 
Your profile:
 

• Completed IT degree or vocational training in computer science / information technology
• Several years of professional experience
• Profound knowledge about Linux and similar operating systems
• Experience with Linux HA, Pacemaker and Corosync
• Knowledge of scripting languages (bash, Python, Perl)
• Experience with virtual environments and AWS, Docker, DevOps is beneficial
• Excellent English language skills, German is desirable
