Our customer is an Internet of Things (IoT) software company since 2006 with around 30 employees. Their IoT platform makes it possible to implement industrial IoT applications quickly and easily and is in used in Europe, America and China as well. As specialists for digitization and IoT, their TÜV-tested IoT platform is already used in a wide variety of industries. There is the possibility to work from the home office most of the time (office presence ca. 3 days/week). The goal is to gather the team every 4-6 weeks in their headquarter for workshops and events. Lead Developer Java/Spring – IoT Team (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities:
  • Leading and mentoring of the team as an active developer with technical finesse, agility and experience
  • Further development of the platform together with the team with a focus on best practices and quality standards
  • Pair programming, code reviews and supervision of the architecture and the backlog together with the product owner
  • Thematic organization of regular workshops and trainings
  • Close cooperation with Scrum Master and Product Owner
  • Advice and questioning of requirements in order to find pragmatic solutions and always deliver customer benefits
  • Regular communication with stakeholders and the extended staff
Your profile:
  • At least 2 years of practical experience in the technical and disciplinary management of an agile software team
  • Experience in development in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Extensive experience in the development of microservices applications and Spring Framework (Java)
  • Very good communication skills, oral and written, and strong presentation skills
  • Experience in dealing with Functional Components ReactJS and TypeScript
  • A high degree of self-organization and active communication
  • Fluent written and spoken English, German as a plus
