In order to strengthen the competence in the area of development of new energy commercial vehicles, they have opened a new R&D Center in Steyr (Upper Austria) that focusses on the development of alternative energy commercial vehicles. Technical Requirements Engineer for Commercial Trucks (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:
 

• Together with the Development Director play a key role in the definition of future commercial trucks for the worldwide market.
• Working together in international cross-functional teams
• Define the requirements for electrified (and conventional) trucks
• Take part in the definition of future commercial vehicle portfolio
• Benchmarking of commercial vehicles and their subsystems

Your profile:
 

• Technical education/degree in machine building, mechatronics, electronics or similar
• Several year experience in development of commercial vehicles
• Experience with zero-emission vehicles, powertrain and other components
• Knowledge in calculation of efficiency and range of zero-emission vehicles
• Understanding of European commercial vehicle norms and market requirements
• Fluent English language skills, German an added advantage
• Truck driving license an added advantage
