IT-Infrastructure Specialist (m/f/d)


Your responsibilities:
 
  • Report to the Head of IT
  • Complete 2nd and 3rd level support activities according to the defined internal processes
  • Compare the Group Infrastructure state (Cloud and On-Prem) with best practice and defined company policies
  • Analyse gaps and remediate
  • Configure, operate and maintain the IT Infrastructure systems
  • Closely monitor the IT Infrastructure, based on monitoring output, ensure that all relevant systems are performing optimally
  • Analyse and evaluate software and hardware requirements, plan the corresponding procurement with approval and installing of and configure the defined solution.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of the Group IT Infrastructure
  • keeping in mind IT security
  • Responsible for the establishment of the required IT Infrastructure to support new Project sites


Your profile:
 
  • Completed studies in computer science or professional experience in a related IT field
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of operational IT infrastructure or cloud computing
  • Excellent working knowledge and experience using SCCM, SQL, MS Server, Linux, Veeam and SAN storage
  • Extensive knowledge around server and virtualisation technologies (VMware), network technology, databases, applications and Microsoft cloud services (O365, Azure and Intune)
  • Working knowledge of virus/intrusion prevention systems
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, German min. B1
