Security Vulnerability Analyst (m/f/d) Embedded Linux
Your responsibilities:
- Track and assessing vulnerabilities in industrial-grade Linux operating system and the open source components it relies on
- Develop, maintain and apply tooling for automated CVE monitoring, classification and reporting
- Leveraging existing open source solutions
- Collaboration with both the engineering teams and the customers
- Support the assessment and mitigation of security risks in the products
- Assist in selecting additional open-source components
Your profile:
- Proven experience in analyzing vulnerabilities, security management, or related fields
- Solid understanding of Linux systems and open source software ecosystems
- Ability to read and assess code for security impact across a variety of programming languages
- Previous open source contributions, especially in the security area - please include them in your application
- Familiarity with industrial automation, IEC62443, CRA or embedded systems (not mandatory)
- A systematic and reliable work habit to ensure continuous monitoring and consistent evaluation of CVEs
- Clear communication skills in English, German an added advantage
